Certain areas are prone to their own type of natural disaster. In the US, Florida and the Gulf Coast are known for their hurricanes which wreak untold destruction. In the Midwest tornadoes are endemic, causing countless catastrophes. California is known for its earthquakes and devastating wild land fires. Nevada, in which Molossia lies, is actually known for the same, earthquakes and especially fires. Recently wild land fires have ravaged large areas to the north of nearby Reno, Nevada, scorching the landscape and burning down homes and businesses. Here in Molossia, of course, we are subject the same type of catastrophes. Recently, we experienced a series of small earthquakes, which fortunately caused no damage. And Molossia lies very near to open lands, which means a possibility of wild land fires. We have dodged that bullet so to speak for a long time now, but it could happen anytime. Thus, we are prepared. Molossia has a dedicated emergency management directorate, preparing our nation for any number of natural disasters, but especially earthquakes and fires. As a part of that preparation, Molossia has a robust fire suppression/firefighting capability, ready to repel any destructive conflagration that might come our way. Disasters can come at any time and we are prepared - keeping Molossia safe and secure, no matter the catastrophy!
