Molossia's website is famous the world over, and garners around 1000 hits a day from visitors of all walks of life. Since the recent Kickassia invasion, however, the Molossian Government became aware of the need for a more interactive, real-time venue for information about our nation. After due consideration, His Excellency, The President and The First Lady decided to launch a page on Facebook. Facebook is a social networking website with more than 500 million active users as of July 2010. Users can add people as friends and send them messages, and update their personal profiles to notify friends about themselves. Users can also join networks organized by workplace, school, college - or micronations. Thus Facebook seemed to be ideal to disseminate information about our nation and to allow fans of our nation to take part in the Molossian experience. In due course our Facebook page was launched, including a description of our nation, photos and other information. Almost immediately the Molossian Facebook group became quite popular, and has since gained nearly 1000 members. As a perk for visiting our Facebook page, members can interact with The President and The First Lady, who will answer questions about Molossia and even offer advice to new micronationalists. The Facebook page has become a true hit with fans of Molossia, and a real asset to our internet presence.
