The Republic of Molossia, always a staunch supporter of dubious democratic processes, is pleased to announce that a free, fair and rigged election will soon take place, for the office of the Presidency. His Excellency, The President states that "for too long Molossians have allowed political apathy to stand in the way of participating in an obviously fabricated electoral process. Well, that is no more! I pledge to you, the long-suffering denizens our great nation, that we shall soon hold a sham election, whose outcome won't be questionable at all, I'm sure, to show the world our love of democracy and of course for Your President." The President continued by noting that all over the world citizens are mislead into thinking that they have a say in their government, in spite of all evidence to the contrary, and why shouldn't Molossia be the same. He promised that the rigged election will take place "soon, very soon". Obligatory postponements are expected, of course, to ensure the electorate is ready for this exercise in pre-determined democratic processes. Huzzah for pseudo democracy in Molossia!
