On 26 February 2011XXXIV the Molossian Infantry participated in Winter Warfare training. Taking advantage of recent heavy winter storms, our nation's valiant warriors traveled to the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains and deployed in the deep snow to practice their tactics. Armed with a variety of foam-dart firing weapons, the Naval Infantry fanned out across the white wilderness in an enthusiastic free-for-all of simulated battle. While lacking a definite objective, the Infantry nevertheless gained a great deal of experience in shooting, cover, concealment, assault and defense. At the end of the training the warriors enjoyed some R&R by sledding the snowy slopes, and then with lunch at the local In-N-Out Burger. Hooray for the Naval Infantry!
